I. Tribal Sub-Plan Title of the Project:
- Socio-economic upliftment of Tribal Population of Jabalpur/ Indore/Rewa Division of Madhya Pradesh by sustainable Livestock Production System
Location of work:
- Mandla, Dhar and Sidhi districts of Jabalpur/Indore/Rewa Division of Madhya Pradesh.
Objectives:
- Identification and formation of groups (5-6 members) of tribal livestock owners with special reference to poultry and goat.
- Capacity building of target groups.
- Creation of small feasible livestock enterprises with special reference to poultry and goat.
- Impact assessment on socio-economic upliftment of tribal people.
II. Farmer FIRST Title of the Project:
- Farmers empowerment through improved integrated farming practices
Location of work:
Jabalpur
Adopted Villages:
Padariya, Silua, Chhatarpur, Deori, Kailwas and Ghana.
Objectives:
- To study the means of livelihood of farmers in the project area and prepare a survey for further needful.
- Identification and constraint analysis of existing farm practices used by the farm families.
- Development of sustainable livestock based integrated farming modules for farm families as means of livelihood.
- Imparting need based awareness cum training facilities to farm families and integration of technology in livestock farming system
- Monitoring and impact Assessment.
