History Of College

The Animal Husbandry Diploma College in Bhopal was inaugurated on 6th February 2012 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, under the guidance of Dr. G.P. Mishra, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of NDVSU, Jabalpur. Since its inception, the college has been committed to delivering quality education and hands-on training in the field of animal husbandry.

The college is equipped with modern infrastructure to enhance the learning experience. It features a well-equipped laboratory with binocular microscopes for practical training, and a library stocked with textbooks, reference materials, and journals to support academic growth.

To promote digital learning, the college provides computer with Wi-Fi connectivity for e-learning. The classrooms are also equipped with projector facilities to enable practical demonstrations through educational videos, enhancing the understanding of theoretical concepts.

Class Room: 03 Furnished lecture hall with projector.

Laboratory: Laboratory is equipped to support post-mortem examinations and animal disease diagnosis. It includes preserved bones and cadavers for anatomical studies, a dedicated necropsy area with dissection tools. The lab features binocular microscopes for cellular analysis, along with equipment for routine hematological staining such as Wright’s, and Giemsa. It is also equipped with an autoclave for sterilization, centrifuges and diagnostic tools for microbiology and hematology.

Library: The library is well-equipped with books related to animal husbandry, providing essential academic and practical knowledge for students. It subscribes to weekly magazines, newsletters and daily newspapers in both English and Hindi to keep students updated with current affairs and developments in the field. Additionally, the library features a computer with Wi-Fi access, supporting e-learning and enabling students to download the latest research, innovations, and educational resources.
