The research conducted in this department has produced important findings in the field of Livestock Production and Management which has contributed in following fields:

  • Productive and reproductive traits in Indigenous cattle.
  • Studies on effect of different housing system, probiotics and non conventional feed additive on growth of indigenous and local goats.
  • Behavioural Research on Livestock animals.
  • Environmental effect on milk production and body condition.
  • Diet supplementation with non conventional feed additive.
