Brief History :

Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education came into existence in 1994 at College of Veterinary Science and A.H., Jabalpur. However the department started masters degree programme (M.V.Sc.) from the session 2010 only.

Objectives of the Department :
  • Conduct extension research tailored to meet the needs of our farmers.
  • Foster adoption of innovations in animal husbandry among end-users.
  • Evaluate and refine innovations developed by NDVSU through technology assessment.
  • Implement human resource development (HRD) programs in veterinary extension.
  • Promote convergence and collaboration to support sustainable farming practices.

        • 1. Daily Climatic parameters show in the portal such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, etc.
        2.Climate change scenario of Madhya Pradesh.
        3. Indigenous breeds of Madhya Pradesh.
