Brief History
The Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry was established during 2007 and has been offering undergraduate courses since then. The postgraduate programme was started in the Department during the year 2016. To its credit, the department is well equipped to cater to the needs of UG education of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry as per Veterinary Council of India (VCI) regulations. Apart from undergraduate teaching, the department is involved in the research and extension activities.
Objectives of the Department
- Imparting education to undergraduate and postgraduate in Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry
- Carrying out research in Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry.
- To carryout research projects with financial assistance from external funding agencies.
