IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS / RULES

• Eligible candidates for admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. degree courses under NRI quota should carefully read the rules for admission before submitting the application form. Incorrect/false information may lead to cancellation of application form for admission and the candidate will be liable to face legal action.
• Following candidates will be eligible for admission in NRI seats:
• i. Firstly, NRI /Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Cardholder/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholder candidate himself/herself or Children of NRI/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Cardholder/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholder
• ii. In the event of vacant seats after admitting above candidates mentioned in Serial no. 2. i., sponsorship candidates who will receive financial support from NRI or OCI or PIO blood relatives such as own brother / own sister / uncle (Own brother of father or mother) / aunt (Own sister of father or mother) only are eligible (Relationship certificate from competent authority needs to be produced as per Annexure: IV).
• Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Cardholder who are having valid OCI/PIO card and foreign passports / Indian passports will be considered as NRI only in the field of Education.
• The prescribed application form for admission may be downloaded from www.ndvsu.org and be submitted with a fee of 150 US dollar only (details of mode of payment alongwith bank details are given in rule no.16, page no.4)
• The duly completed application form in all respect along with all necessary documents/ testimonials with fee of 150 US dollar (attach proof) must reach to the Dean Faculty, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Administrative Building, Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh-482004 (India) on or before the prescribed last date, i.e. 29th August, 2025. Incomplete application form in any respect or application received after 29th August, 2025 will be rejected. The applicant can submit duly filled application along with required documents with proof of application fee of 150 US dollar (coloured scan copies) into a SINGLE PDF FILE in official e-mail of Dean Faculty, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within last date; however, the applicant has also to submit original application form along with original demand draft (if fee paid in the form of demand draft).
• The candidate must write on the envelope “Application form for admission under NRI quota 2025-26’’
• No application form for admission will be considered unless it is accompanied by self attested copies of the documents/ testimonials.
• No changes will be entertained once the application has been submitted.
• The candidate must have attained 17 years of age on 31st December, 2025.
• The candidate must have passed 12th class (or equivalent examination abroad) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in aggregate.
• The admission will be done on the basis of merit list of the candidates prepared based on the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks obtained in 12th class or equivalent examination abroad.
• The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit shall be in the following sequence, namely:-

A. The candidate who has obtained higher marks in the subject of Biology in 12th class.

B. Higher Marks obtained in 12th class.

C. Date of birth (Candidate who is elder in age shall be given priority)

• The counseling for admission under NRI quota seats will be held at Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Administrative Building, Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh-482004 (India). The counseling schedule will be informed to the eligible candidates through E-mail individually/also uploaded in the University website.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.)

Bachelor of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.)

• Admission fees to be deposited at the time of admission: US dollar 7200 per year must be deposited at the time of admission (cash will not be accepted). In addition, Indian Rupees 33860/- for B.V.Sc. & A.H. and 22740/- for B.F.Sc. degree courses also have to be deposited at the time of admission.
• The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit shall be in the following sequence, namely:-
• Mode of fee payment (in any of the processes given below):

i. Through Bank Transfer (Swift transfer) as per the details given below:

ii. In the form of ‘Foreign Currency Demand Draft’ drawn in favour of “NANAJI DESHMUKH VETERINARY SCIENCE UNIVERSITY, JABALPUR (NDVSU).

• Attested copies of the following documents have to be submitted by the candidate in duplicate along with application form, otherwise the application will be rejected.

• i. NRI Certificate (Annexure– I) duly authenticated from Indian Embassy/High Commission of the country concerned in case of candidate himself/herself NRI or children of NRI,

• ii. Proof of date of birth 10th or 12th class Marksheet / Certificate or related document from Competent Authority showing date of birth (candidate must have attained 17 years of age on 31st December, 2025).
• iii.12th class Marksheet (candidate must have obtained 50% marks in science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate).
• iv. Passport of NRI/OCI/PIO
• v. Visa of NRI/OCI/PIO (as applicable)
• vi. Proof of payment of application fees of 150 US Dollar
• vii. Recent bank account update of the NRI/OCI/PIO in the residing country (up to the date of application).
• viii. Employer’s certificate (if applicable).

• The applicant shall have to produce the original testimonials/ documents at the time of counseling. If during scrutiny or any time thereafter any discrepancy or incorrectness is noticed, the admission is liable to be cancelled forthwith. The candidate could be expelled and legal action would be initiated against him.
• At the time of admission, the candidate has to submit a notarised surety bond on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100 stating that in case of leaving the study anytime after admission due to any reason including shortage of attendance before completion of B.V. Sc. & A.H. programme, the student will refund the total drawn amount of stipend from the college (if any) along with a sum of Rs. 1.00 Lakh (one lakh Rupes only) as penalty to get College Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate.
• Transfer of students admitted under NRI seat from NDVSU, Jabalpur to a Veterinary College of other State shall be permitted as per Academic rules only on payment of the remaining fees of the entire degree programme.
• If the NRI seats remain vacant after the last date of application, then the vacant NRI seats will be will be converted to Foreign National Category seats. If again remain vacant, the vacant seats will be converted to payment seats and will be filled by the general (unreserved) category candidates from merit list of NEET (UG) 2025.
• The University reserves the right to insert any new rule or to edit / modify / delete any rule to meet the exigencies of situation at any time.
• Interpretation: In implementation of the provisions of these rules, if any difficulty or question arises as to the interpretation of any provision, decision of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh shall be final.
